AIS Water named on Australia’s Top 10 Innovative Manufacturers List

The world-leading and revolutionary approach of Brisbane’s AIS Water in developing innovative water disinfection systems and commercial quality anode material has been recognised yet again, with the company named one of the 10 most innovative manufacturers in Australia.

Released at the start of July, the @AuManufacturing 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers list named 10 Gold Award recipients and 40 Silver Award recipients transforming the landscape of Australia’s manufacturing sector with the introduction of innovative technologies, approaches and products.

AIS Water received a Top 10 Gold Award in recognition of its water disinfection technologies which are now found in 55 countries globally and used in residential and commercial swimming pools.

Award organisers @AuManufacturing, an arm of the Australian Manufacturing Forum LinkedIn group, said the accolade was developed to “identify and celebrate Australia’s 50 most innovative manufacturers”.

AIS Water CEO Elena Gosse, said she was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the company she and her husband own, and where, for the past 30 years she has spearheaded its commitment to innovation, growth and sustainability.

“The ‘I’ in AIS stands for innovation so it is wonderful to receive an award where we are named one of the 10 most innovative manufacturers in the country,” Ms Gosse said. “It is especially wonderful to receive the inaugural award as we like to be world-leading in everything we do!

“During our company’s 30-year history we’ve been in a perpetual state of innovation, from developing new technologies and approaches and pushing the boundaries of water science and the process of ‘electrolysis’.

“AIS Water has our own in-house Research and Development Team and we have recently invested in a third manufacturing facility purpose-built for the production of anode material.  This has helped to position ourselves to expand production to not only keep pace with demand but explore other industries including clean energy.”

The opening of the dedicated anode production facility – the only one in the southern hemisphere – has been a pathway to an additional revenue stream with AIS Water now selling its anode material worldwide, breaking a previously held monopoly in the market.

“This year we celebrate our 30th anniversary on the back of a very strong 12 months of growth and recognition for the business where we received a number of national and international awards,” Ms Gosse continued.

“And we do love awards because it means what we are doing is working. More importantly though, we have a mission to continue developing technologies which enhance life by saving water across our planet and contributing positively to the communities where our products can be found.

“This will continue to be our focus as we keep researching, keep developing and keep innovating.”
